Beaver Pond along East branch
Two views of a beaver pond that lies next to the East Branch of the Deerfield River. This is about a mile up the East Branch trail. As of the time this photo was taken (October 8, 2016) the East Branch itself is not dammed - the pond is a few feet east of the river, which can just be seen at the forest edge, across the pond. There are other beaver ponds further upstream.
